Our courses are designed for anyone working in the catering or hospitality industry.  This includes staff working in restaurants, markets, bakeries, fast food and takeaways, cafés, pubs and bars, hotels, kitchens and catering for hospitals and schools. As a food handler or the business owner you have a duty to comply with the provisions of current food safety legisation including:

  • The Food Safety Act 1990
  • The Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013

Those requirements state that:

  1. Food handlers must be supervised and trained in food safety matters relevant to their work.
  2. The person responsible for developing and maintaining the food safety procedures must be trained in the principles of HACCP.
